This ethernet has a windows 95 box at each end with the linux in the middle.
ALL operations between the windows boxes are working correctly, as is 
FTP or Telnet to the Linux box from either end. Ping works fine everywhere,
giving a time of 2ns. Samba is the ONLY point where delays are seen. 
I think it it something aout my Samba setup.
