I run an AHA152x, which i believe is pretty much the same but without the
floppy interface and a bit slower, so i'll try and help...

I've not had problems with anything crashing but mine will do this 'looping'
if i try to start Linux without the card installed. Have you supplied the
correct parameters to the module during installation (IRQ, IO, etc. - i can
look up exactly what needs to be supplied tonight if you need)

Basically, this is exactly what i did with my SCSI card (and thinking about
it i just removed it so i'll have this problem next time i boot Linux!).
Once you get the previous problem solved, everything else is easy.

Set up a mount point and add the entry into the fstab file. The device for a
scsi Zip disk will be '/dev/sda4' if you only have the zip drive connected
on the scsi chain or '/dev/sdb4' if it's the second device etc.

Don't know why it's sda4, it just always is - again i can supply more
detailed instructions if you need. All the info is in the FAQ for zip
drives, but i appreciate that it's often better to be helped.
