Well, i don't think my card was a 1520b, but then again i beleive the only
difference between the 1520 and the 1520b was the addition of the scsi
floppy interface, so my details should work.

You can try several things. The easiest is to select 'specify options' and
when prompted the parameter is (all on one line):

'aha152x=0xI/O,IRQ,ID OF HOST,1' (don't remember what the 1 stood for !!).
In my case the line was 'aha152x=0x340,10,7,1'. I seem to think that this is
not a particularly unusual setup.

Another way which SHOULD work is to add this to the boot prompt and things
should then auto detect, but i can't remember exactly what the syntax is for
this - something like 'linux append='aha152x,0x340,10,7,1' '. If this way
works for you then you must put the append= part into your lilo.conf and
rerun lilo after installation.

Try the first method, it'll probably be far easier.

Regards,
Martin.

only person experiencing problems here.
