Just as a precaution make sure Com2 is diabled under the BIOS then boot into
Windows and check the resources that the modem is using...are they the standard
Com2 resources ie IRQ3, 3f8, is it UART16550 or something else...I found my
modem uses slightly different settings and had to manually configure my
rc.serial file...let us know
