Hi from Russia!

Dear colleagues!.. Expecially from Russia!
Are there anyone Mandrake user in Russia here? Are there anyone tried to use
RUSSIAN language at the installation process??

There's one BUG - little bug, not critical, but BUG, was detected by me
yesterday.

Mandrake-Linux 6.0 release , which I' ve downloaded in ISO from one of
official FTP mirrors -
have a BROKEN image in /images folder, boot-ol.img. It is not a "bad" ISO,
it was burned correctly and not only ISO -
at ftp://sunsite.org.uk/packages/Mandrake/6.0/images - too.

In more details - boot-ol.img has a BROKEN initrd, which cause system to
"_HANG_" at the booting
process. Cause of the broken _RAM_DISK_ - i.e., initrd.img.

I use Mandrake 5.2 and 5.3 before, but 6.0 is first version with "Russian
locale in Box".

It's not a bad floppy or "buggy PC",
I' ve tested on several PCs and several floppies. You can CHECK it to
improve that I'm right.

Althought I can easy use English, and I used it in 5.2 or 5.3, but - I want
to use RUSSIAN language NOW.
For having the LOCALE/KDE customization/interface in Russian.

If I'm use boot.img for diskette creation - It works fine, but if I choose
Russian language - there are many
error messages alike "can not find file... tr". I.E. - It not works at the
beginning, but I can continue installation any way, after
several screenz - messages became Russian, but I'm not sure this method is
correct for Russian locale settings..

If I'm use ANY of boot-XX.img _other_ than -OL -- similar situation: I can
choose Russian,
but It does not work pure/correct. All other images than boot-ol.img - WORKS
WELL, without hanging. BUT -

AND - if I'm use boot-ol.img for discette creation - It FAILS afted trying
to load RAMDISK..
As I'm tested - it is besause of BROKEN initrd.img IN file boot-ol.img.

As written in /images/readme -- for RUS lang. I SHOULD USE this image,
boot-ol, not some other. But It's broken.

What can You suggest for Me and OTHER RUSSIAN USERS?..
Can You fix this image and can I download It separately for correct Russian
installation.

Thank You very much!..
