Its a pity, but its not only error in Mandrake 6.0 russian localization.
And - what are these errors in general?
Next week, we (IPLabs Linux Team) will release Mandrake 6.0 Russian
Edition where this bugs will be fixed and few packages will be added.

The big problem is that on the mirroring ftp sites some Mandrake SRPMS
are broken (for eg. console-tools and Afterstep).
If you want to build correct image with russian language, you
can do it with sources from /misc.
Are this procedure - simple?..
