thanks for your reply. Well, I solved the problem immediately after I
shrieked for help. New problem is that the connection won't go through.

Most amazing is is how 6.0 set up Lilo without my help. I have Linux on
one hard drive and Win95 on another. Linux configured lilo
automatically such that I can boot from one to the other with no
problem. I had tried this before, but windoze always insisted on seeing
a nonexistent floppy in the a drive and would then stall the boot
process.
