Hy, I ended up losing all the stuff in my home directory, but that was
due to an error on my part. Every problem I encountered installing
Mandrake 6.0 was traceable to my own errors and my impatient reaction
to them. Something I had forgotten to do with /usr kept halting the
installation --something so minor that I can't remember what it is
now-- and I screwed up and let it partition /home. Oh well, I had put
most of the stuff on a zip disk, anyway. But I hate the idea of
reinstalling Staroffice.
