My monitor cant handle anything higher than 640x480 (yes, i tried 800x600 but I only get noise). But I get 24bit color in my 640x480 without problems. The problem is that the menus and windows in KDE are in one fixed (too large) size for this monitor. So i get gigantic windows (which i have to resize all the time) as well as some dissapearing "ok", "cancel" and "apply" buttons. I also have to get the menubar in its "tiny" setting. Dont get me wrong, I am completely in love with KDE and Mandrake 5.3, I was only manifesting monitor-envy... ^_^ -- _______________________________ Jose Alberto Abreu Executive Editor Plan B Mystical Enterprises _______________________________ "Do or do not... fuckup you can if you try..." -attributed to Jedi Master Yoda =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Get Your Own Free Pop or Web Based Email and a 10MB Web Site for FREE at: http://www.nettaxi.com! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
