Thanks for responding! Routing problem eh? Do you mean
inserting a route on the Windows PC in the lmhosts file? If you are
talking about Linux, where would one insert the route? Here is the
configuration of the network.
Server ETH0: IP: <x.x.x.198> sub net: 255.255.255.192
gateway: <x.x.x.193> dns: x.x.x.15
ETH1: IP: 192.168.1.1 sub net: 255.255.255.0
WinPC IP: 192.168.1.2
Sub net: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: x.x.x.15
The NICs I am using are the Realtec PCI using the NE2K-PCI module.
I have taken the cards out and installed a 3Com Etherlink III with the same
results.
