Yes. Yes and fairly easily. :-)
The BEST way (personal opinion only) is to partition your
hard drive so that you have Windows on one partition and
Linux and Swap space on the other. Then, install Linux in
the "empty" partition and create 50-100 megs of swap space
at the same time (if you choose "custom install" it'll let
you choose what goes where and let you specify mount
points, etc.) If you want access to the Windows9x/NT
partitions, create mount points (you can do this manually
in fstab if you trust yourself... I've heard that there may
be utils to write this info for you) in the /etc/fstab file
and mount them as type "vfat" (NOT msdos, otherwise long
filenames won't work.)
