Surf on over to the sunsite.unc.edu and pick up a copy of "The Linux EtherNet HOWTO. My old copy has a bunch of D-Links that are supported, but they are all model-numbered, so I cannot compare to yours.  I have found Linux-Mandrake to be very tolerant of the NIC installed as long as it is seated properly.  I have had the experience of seeing windows use a card and Linux miss it, and I have corrected that problem MORE THAN ONCE, by opening the case and re-seating the card in its socket.  THis edition of LInux will even recognize and use cheap ($12) NE200 clones for PCI, some I have trouble installing for windows.

Hello,
I am having trouble with ym d-link DE ISA PnP nic card.  I can not find a
kernel module that makes it work.  The system does not even know it's
there.  I have disabled the PnP bios option and it still makes no
difference.  I perfer 3com, but my company already has the d-link in
there.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any help...
Mike
