I have seen minor issues with the floppy when setup as shared with samba and
supermount,, and accessed from windows boxes, if you delete all files on a
floppy via smb to a linux supermount drive. and then try to put files on
that drive, it forgets that it has deleted the files and you can't add
more..

I don't know if thats an issue with supermount, samba or whatever.. but its
a definate problem.

FWIW, despite all I have read, I have found it to be little problem (under
8.2).  I know others have said the same.  One thing that does seem to cause
problems, though, is if you manually mount/unmount from a shell, say.  It
gets confused then.

Of course, I'm no expert.
