Depending on how your cable service provider sets things up, connection
sharing may not be enough.  You may need to make the Mandrake machine a
proxy server to allow multiple machines to share the cable connection. 
Certainly this is required for the Telstra Bigpond cable service here in
Australia.  Fortunately this is easy :-) Just have squid running and
tell all your client machines to use the proxy.
