is there an overall volume control for the speakers, such
as that
other "OS" has? some of the sounds with flash, etc. can
be a bit
loud for an office environment *g*. it shouldn't be
relevant for
this, but i'm using 9.0.

thanks,

Hi Joe,

KDE Kicker(aka "Start")>Multimedia>Sound>KMix

When you logoff or shutdown put a check in the "save
session for future logins", and it will stay as the
volume, like in that "other OS". ;-)
