You may want to check with ls -a where spadmin in /usr/lib/staroffice is
pointing to. (I run OpenOffice, I hope things are equal enough.)

[root@tbird OpenOffice.org1.0]# ls -l spadmin
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           44 May  2  2002 spadmin ->
/usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.0/program/soffice*

As you see, here it is a link to the soffice program. When I run it, as root
or user, it gives me the printer/font control program.
If you can't find it, perhaps you could drop a ls -l of
/usr/lib/staroffice/program here?

Good luck,
Paul
