Thanks for your reply Charles,
The sources I have setup are as follows:
-Installation CD's 1,2 &3
-Tex (disabled), ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/contrib/texstar/
linux/distributions/mandrake/9.0/rpms, relative path: hdlist.cz
-Updates, ftp://ftp.rediris.es/mirror/mandrake/updates/9.0/RPMS, relative
path: ../base/hdlist.cz
-9.0-Contrib, ftp://ftp.rediris.es/pub/linux/distributions/mandrake/current/
contrib/RPMS, relative path: ../../i586/Mandrake/base/hdlist2.cz

I ran the "rpm -q" for several packages in question, and they all show matching
version and release as the available ones. There was no sources shown so they are all
indicated as installed.

I can send snapshots of my software Install/Remove screens with a package indicated,
if that would help. It will be a 100kb or so attachment though.

Thanks for your help.
