Yo
maybe Anne is right but in my case it didn't work :-(
but when i changed the video driver - situation has changed, in MCC in
Hardware you have something like Graphical Visualisation or sth like this (i
don't remember) and there you can find settings like List if available
monitors, video card driver, resolution and you can TEST it, so i have
changed the video driver (i had first in the list Geforce driver and I
changed it on XFree 4 driver "vesa") and now all is ok, I can change the
resolution with no problems

BTW: I still don't know how to change the refresh rate :-P maybe you can
help me ??
thanks
raq

Could be way off beam, but I would guess that the monitor setting you have
only has one resolution available. I would suggest that you check the list
of available monitors again, and see if you can find a generic monitor that
has settings that match what yours can do - but do be careful that you
really
know its capabilities. I hope you still have the manual for the monitor?
Or
maybe you could google or info about it?

Anne
