Being that you've done an upgrade, you might want to use Webmin to reconfigure not just Apache, but the mod_php modules that are installed with PHP - this will ensure that Apache reads all of the updated/upgraded modules and reconfigures them accordingly, as well as initialising the PHP modules. After double checking all of your settings in Apache, make SURE you stop then restart the service prior to putting things back on your website. This will fix the permission problems - which is actually coming from improper configuration of modules - not really a "file permissions" issue. -- Fri Jan 10 06:40:00 EST 2003 6:40am up 20:22, 5 users, load average: 0.22, 0.30, 0.36 ------------------------------------------------------------------ | __ __ | kuhn media australia | | / ,, /| |'-. | http://kma.0catch.com | | .\__/ || | | |=================================| | _ / `._ \|_|_.-' | stephen kuhn | | | / \__.`=._) (_ | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | |/ ._/ |"""""""""| | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | |'. `\ | | | icq: 5483808 | | ;"""/ / | | | | | smk ) /_/| |.-------.| | mobile: 0410-728-389 | | ' `-`' " " | Berkeley, New South Wales, AU | ------------------------------------------------------------------ * linux user:267497 * RH 7.3+ * PC/Mac/Linux/Networking/Consulting ------------------------------------------------------------------ You're definitely on their list.
