Timidity has kdemultimedia as a dependency. You can either install timidity by doing 'cd' to the directory containing timidity and then rpm -ivh --nodeps timidity-blah blah.rpm It is possible that Timidity will not work properly, in which case you can remove it again, and download the .src RPM and compile it with rpm --rebuild timidity-blah.blah.src This will only work if you have the required compiler tools available, and -devel versions of the dependent RPMs (such as kdemultimedia-devel-3.0.5a ) Alternatively you may decide to undo the upgrade and reinstall the old version of kdemultimedia.
