Tried this. Nothing changed, it still doesn't work.

I did it and there was nothing. I am assuming because I don't have a USB
mouse.

After hitting the hot sync on my pda.. i still see nothing in the
/dev/usb/ directory.

Thanks for the info. I suppose I need a
"Lets-pretend-you-haven't-tried-10-different-things-already
...this-is-all-you-need-to-know-from-beginning-to-end" sort of answer
