This install was done on preformatted /dev/hda7 in ext2 , no formatting in the install
proceedure at all.

F1 expert install route

1)Failed to detect and install Scroll wheel mouse .

2)Fails to detect /swap partition, at least it does not tell me it has.

3) No saved package facility.

4) When asked to present CD1 for printer , it fails
to detect the CD1 when presented

5) The install hangs "please wait making printer port available for CUPS"

6) then error message "An error occured foomatic-configure failed"

7) fails to detect 1280x1024@60hz screen resolution and when manually
chosen it fails to hold.

8) It detected Generic geforce3+ XFree4.2.1 ok, but returned
"error message, server SUGA is not available (should be in /mnt/usr/X11R/XFree86)"
result is a failed screen driver installation , no test etc.

9) The whole process skips creating a boot disc altogether

10 ) None of the LH side panel scripts are sensitive to cursor clicks.

11) I was forced to install lilo, which was not by choice as I wanted to
do a floppy boot or failing that M9.0 boot script/lilo.conf job, and as
a result it's lilo was installed in the MBR.

The reboot went ok as far as a consol login , but of course no xwindows
meant I could not get a graphical desktop. I tried to think
of a way I might be able to remidy this but coundn't think of any. I
suppose if you are at a local host terminal it must be possible to install
a driver in cojunction with the installation cd's but if so someone
would have to explain.

I really want some way of building on this so that lilo does not get
installed and a Xwindows screen driver setup is achieved.

There was nothing left for me to do but reinstall M9.0's lilo to the MBR.
