John,

I use the curves and levels adjustments in Gimp for color correction for
my digital camera. The nice thing about it is that you can save the
adjustment for later use. I only need to use one, because the color is
only bad for indoor flash photos. I open the picture, load the adjustment
and done. I've had more luck with this than other adjustments but of
course YMMV.
