I was joking, as many people said 9.0 did not have enough changes to be a 
version release, but instead should have been a point release of the 8.x 
series.  I disagree since 9.0 was compiled with gcc3.2 and included the 1.0 
versions of lots of software like Mozilla and OO.o.

Since this next release has a lot of changes, like the porting of the MCC to 
GTK2 and the rewrite of the installer, you might be tempted to want to call 
it 10.0.  I think the major changes are mostly cosmetic and there are not 
enough changes under the hood to justify it.  Just my 2 cents.
