Anders, I can't comment about command lines but I've seen this with other
pieces of software. Usually, when I lose something here, and it won't restart
its because its not completely dead. You can do a "top" or <control><esc> to
bring up KDEs' System Guard and see if part of that process is still running.
If it is, just kill it, then restart your app.
Works for me here. :-)
