If you go to the XFS source site it states there has been XFS support in
since MDK 8.1.  I have also seen this during the install of the latest 9.0.
I have not tried looking in any 8.1 or 8.2.  I have also seen somewhere that
the kernel updates from MDK actually include XFS fixes and such.
