Edit /etc/modules.conf and find the line that begins with alias sound-slot-0 snd-..... and comment it out with a # and the line following it. Put in this line: alias sound i810_audio so that your modules.conf looks like this (this is mine) alias usb-interface usb-ohci #alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-intel8x0 #above snd-card-intel8x0 snd-pcm-oss alias sound i810_audio probeall scsi_hostadapter usb-storage ide-scsi alias eth0 sis900 alias /dev/nvidia* NVdriver Save and Exit.
