That last line tells you the drive won't do DAO, so it's
usefulness is sort'a limited. I'd get a different drive. You should
see somethin like
Supported modes: TAO PACKET SAO SAO/R96P SAO/R96R RAW/R16 RAW/R96P
RAW/R96R
(SessionAtOnce, SAO is DiskAtOnce, DAO).
