All,
Is it possible to do urpmi as a user and not root. Reason being is I am behind a ms proxy which authenticates user id's. They will not create a root one for me so it will have to be my own user for the updates. How do I do this? Can I do this?
You could try using rpm with the prefix option set to your home directory (see man rpm). Can't guarantee that the installed program will work, though.
