Ye Gads!

If nothing else this article shows all the flip-flops, changes of mind
(assuming that SCO has a mind to change), selective threats and FUD, and a
general sense of utter confusion on the part of SCO.

But, of course, according to "Marshall" McBride what they are really standing
up for are IP rights of old technology companies in the 21st Century..people
that can't cut it on their own. It was interesting to read some tool maker
who can't sell his products for love nor money because the gcc complier and
tools suites run circles around his stuff. He's moaning because it's free
and blames that not the minor fact that it's simply better.

Of course, later in the day, SCO changed it's mind again saying we may or may
not sue you depending on the time of day, the tides, phase of the moon and
after discovery of the entrails of a crow that dropped on their front lawn
dead of West Nile.

All this cheered on by semi survivors of the dot com bubble who still believe
that free lunches, something for nothing and a shiny used Beamer somehow
translates into a profit.

Do you think Illiad at User Friendly might have thought this up and it's all
just a really awfull nightmare?
