Because I don't [didn't] know how. That's why I wrote:

Since then I've done a bit of looking around, and I ran Userdrake and
created a new username for my gf. But I expect the new username will
have the same permission levels etc as mine - I didn't see any place to
change or specify them.

Thanks for that. Yes there's a *sheetload* of stuff to read there.
Nothing about users though - there's only 3 files in the Userdrake menu:
the Authors list, the Changelog, and the license. I've heard about some
"howto" files, but I did a search and didn't find any on my system.
