well, lame is jam-packed full of options for advanced users,
but supposed using the -r3mix parameter is a really good
compromise between quality and ease-of-use.
the author justifies his views and the -r3mix settings at
(surprise surprise) www.r3mix.net
and i must admit, i'm sold.
