No they are not.

If you look at the 9.2 tree on the mirrors you will see that 
kernel-2.4.22-10mdk is in the 9.2 folder, if you do a network install you 
will be using the bad kernel and will kill your LG CD drive.

The new kernel is in updates which is too late to help a new install.

So just wait a bit until the new iso's are prepared if you have an LG Cdrom

(I hope they call the new image 9.2.1 or something. It would be totally 
confusing if they issued it with the same release number)
