My first RPM customer and it didn't hose yer system... ;-) > It seems that the rpm doesn't create .pekwm/ and .pekwm/themes in my > ~/, so I created them. Also, according to man startx, the xinit file > should be named xinitrc. Is that correct ? That's if it's in /etc/X11, you want it in ~/ so call it .xinitrc, at least that's the way I've always done it, that way you can mess with it without being root. You can add stuff before the "exec pekwm" like: gkrellm -w & if you have that installed or any other dockapps, there are a lot available through urpmi, like wmsmixer, wmclockmon, etc. > I didn't want to install the tools you mentioned because I want to > install 9.2 when it comes out. Tools? Oh, you mean the devel tools, yeah, when you install 9.2, when it comes to package choices, make sure you install Development tools. > Thank you very much for your help. No problemo! I'm glad the RPM worked, makes me feel like I contributed something. What do you think of the bluecurve-k theme?
