Your friends there will be:

man crontab
man 5 crontab
and perhaps also man cron
It is not difficult, just something you need to get used to.

"su" to root, and type 'crontab -e' to edit the crontab file. But first 
read up on how to define things. And make sure you know how to handle vi...
