Why not just directly edit the /usr/local/etc/xfce4/menu.xml - that way you can trim out what you don't want, put in what you do want, and otherwise optimise it for your liking/needs - ain't like it's rocket science...
Yeah yeah yeah-- that's what I'm doing. Was just curious as to whether or not there was a convenient way to do it in more-or-less one go. No need to condescend. ;)
