A-hem; XFCE4.0.4 is available in RPM format already - just go to the
page: http: www.xfce.org => and follow through to the links for the RPM
downloads - you won't be disappointed. Fast, clean, full of features and
full of utlitiy/toys => if you want CLEAN, well, you currently can't get
any cleaner than that.

Being the type of person that shirks GUI crap, it's pretty yet more than
functional. I can't imagine doing my day-to-day stuff without XFCE - and
that's not a joke.

Speed and functionality are always a thing for me - and prior to XFCE I
used Enlightenment - for candy AND functionality - but since E17 ain't
ready for the public yet, well, I'll stick with XFCE4 and it's wonderful
ties to GTK...screw KDE and QT...speed and resource are the main
issues...
