Been there. Wincentric mailing list is a bigger pain than the program. My office work-around was to prep a doc with just our letterhead, format text font, etc., save it. Now everyone starts with that doc, save as, and continue on in the new letter. That and oo's halfassed clipboard feature will keep me on kword personally. Also, saving the doc on the fileserver, then calling it from another machine causes format/font changes. I have to redo page breaks etc before printing after I edit my sec'y's work. At first I thought she was being sloppy, but it's definitely oo. Makes me nuts. Also never have been able to add words to the dictionary. Damn, I didn't realize how many probs I had with it until I started this reply. Changing my office is more of a pain than oo right now, but we're close. Bottom line is try kword if it's strong enough for your needs. At least it keeps you away from the Kmart shoppers. Lee
