I shouldnt be, as I have only just re-installed after Windows quite successfully demolished my Linux install (dont ask!).
Whatever, it's gotten me beat well and truly.
It's been a long day, I'm tired, and I have overdosed on Nicotine and Caffeine tonight, trying to sort this out, and I must admit defeat.

Go into mcc/software management and untic all the original sources. Then highlight the new ones, one at a time and select "update".
Then run MandrakeUpdate, (which is called "Software Updates" in mmc)
If you had updated already, you'd know, because its a few hundred mb to upgrade community to official.
