Open an xterm and see if you can run 'konqueror' from the command line. If it starts, something weird goes on. Looks then that konq is not in the path. If you can run it from the menu and it fires up, that should be it from what I can tell. Otherwise it is not installed. Paul -- You can compare character with the foundation of a house.
