Like I say, I'm no hardware guru, all I know is, when I plonk more RAM in *any*
machine, it makes a huge diff. I've got a P2 300 that runs WinXP full speed with
392MB.

Someone fire up the Tom Brinkman signal ;-)

This is mine:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~>$free
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 506012 459644 46368 0 41880 264904
-/+ buffers/cache: 152860 353152
Swap: 811240 0 811240

There's so many factors involved, tho, if you look at Randall's stats his OO
opens in the same amount of time as mine, and he's got a freakin' monster. Could
be the OO version, could be a lot of things. *But*, with RAM bein' so stinkin'
cheap, why the hell not, eh?
