rdate needs to be SUID root first of all (otherwise it
won't run at all.) Second, how exactly are you calling
rdate? You need to put a server/host in there, such as
"time.nist.gov" The server, time.nist.gov, is the atomic
clock in Colorado. The command line would be (minus the
quotes) "rdate -sp time.nist.gov"
It works here...
