LILO is the LInus LOader. If you use BootMagic, or some other third party
boot mechanism, I believe it launches LILO when you choose linux. When you
install, you'll want to put LILO on your Root partition (hdax)[where x is some
number - the number of your root partition]. If you don't use a third party
boot program, put LILO in the MBR (hda).
