Ok, I've now used MC to read the README.cirrus file, and updated my config
file based on advice given in the readme. I've added Option "noaccel", and
it froze me...enabled Option "no_bitblt", same issue...I enabled the Chipset
"clgd5436" function for better identification of my card....all to no avail.
As far as this comment goes..."> Alternatively, a brand new 4 MB video card

I see no reason to buy a new card when mine is 100%supported. Also, the
issues of trying to install a PCI card on a system with an integrated video
adapter(Compaq's idea, not mine) seems hardly worth the trouble.
I would like to know if anyone has ever resolved any issues with these
cards, and what is necessary to acheive the ultimate goal of clear video
with no re-draw issues.
Thank you for all of your sage advice on this matter, I appreciate any and
all help you can provide.
