[newbie] kppp

This seems kinda wierd to me.

After I connect to my dial up internet provider using kppp dial up
utility, I cannot access anything on my system.  Everything seems to now
respond, but as soon as I disconnect, everything works.

After I log out and shut down my computer, I notice that there are a lot
of comments, I'm assuming that this deals with my problem, while linux
shuts down.

    'Audit: "A date and time stamp": 435x: client 22 rejected from local
host'
