After performing a workstation install of Mandrake 6.1 and running KDE, I am
getting the "KToolBarButton: pixmap is empty" errors refered to in the FAQ.
I followed the instructions in the FAQ, namely:

KDE is now in /usr whereas it was in /opt/kde. So you have to link the two
pics/ folders. Use ln -s /usr/share/apps/kppp/pics/
/opt/kde/share/apps/kppp/pics to make a symbolic link from /opt/... to
/usr/...

and restarted KDE/X.

Unfortunately, I still have the problem "pixmap is empty" with KDE apps.
Drilling down, the /opt/kde/share/apps/kppp/pics directory link exists and
points back to /user/share/apps/kppp/pics.
