HELP !! Does anyone know what drivers will work with this printer ?? I keep
seeing it listed as being fully compatable with Linux but, I'm having a hell of
a time getting it to work right. I have it conncted to a windoze box on my
network and am able to send data to it. I just need to figure out which driver
to pick in printtool and what additional (if any) switches I need to enable. I
have a brother HL-10v connected to the same windoze machine and it works just
great with the laserjet 3 drivers. I tried asking HP this question and here is the
reponse I got:

Funny since I had just been looking at their Linux support pages at
http://www.hp.com/ssg/linux/index.html It talks about HPs comitment to
supporting Linux OS on HP hardware !!!! Guess they never thought that someone
may want to print from there HP printer on there "HP supported" Linux (RedHat)
boxes !!!
