[newbie] USB Mouse

I recently bought one of those fancy Intellieye "Microsoft" Mouse (It was 
the traitor in me, I repent, please forgive me).
Is there a way for mandrake  and KDE to recognize the mouse and use it. Btw 
Mandrake 6.1 The latest and greatest
