Hi! You must add append="mem=<number of RAM you have>M" unto your lilo.conf
file located at /etc. Heres an example if you have 128 Megs of RAM this is
what it would look like on your lilo.conf file.

boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
default=linux
keytable=/boot/us.klt
prompt
timeout=50
message=/boot/message
other=/dev/hda1
label=windows
table=/dev/hda
other=/dev/fd0
label=floppy
unsafe
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label=linux
root=/dev/hda7
append="mem=128M" <----- here just after the root partition info. then
reboot. =)
read-only
other=/dev/hda1
label=w
table=/dev/hda
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label=l
root=/dev/hda7
append=""
read-only
