Hi! I am attempting to install Mandrake 7.0-2 on a laptop which can
have either a floppy disk or a CDROM but not both. I need to use the
installation method which lets me start from DOS.

My laptop uses the CT65555 chipset which is listed in the supported
hardware list but I am unable to see the DrakX screen when I do the
graphical install.

My problem is that I would like to do a text install which is started
from DOS. When I use the autoboot.bat file to start the installation
from DOS I don't get the prompt which lets my type in Text and choose
the text mode installer. I would like to edit the bat file so that I
can invoke the text mode, either by getting the prompt or by giving
the right command to get into the text mode immediately.

Can anyone help me figure out what I need to do? Axalon? Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
